"Responsive when I called on the weekend. Jarrod came out first thing in the morning on Monday. It was fixed quickly. He didn't try to upsell me on anything. I don't know much about average septic pumping but the price seemed fair to me compared to average costs I found online. I would use them again.
Edit: He told me I would probably need a new line when he first came out since my old line was very very old. I checked around with another company to be certain. It's unbelievable how much the other company was going to charge compared to Dunn's. Plus the other company wanted 250 bucks to tell me what I already knew was wrong. Jarrod (spelling?) knew right away and didn't try to swindle me. As soon as he came back out to get me an affordable quote, he worked on it the next day. It was finished in a few hours. I highly recommend this company if you're in the West Frankfort area. No bull or trying to tell me to buy things I don't really need. My advice is don't hire companies that seem like you're paying 10 other people's payrolls. Keep it small with someone like Dunn's. They did great."

"Saturday night. 9:30 PM. New home owners, eleven days into their new house when BAM! Septic backs up into the wife's bathtub and the toilets won't flush.
Spring into action and hit the Google box searching for a rescue. Call fourteen companies. That's right, you read yhst correctly: FOURTEEN. 14. Fourteen calls, fourteen messages. Local, out of area, out of state, shoot, I think I called San Fransisco looking for a solution. Called in sick to work because I know that at 6 AM, my two little girls are going to want to go to the bathroom.
Sunday morning. Wife and girls head to our old rent house to use the facilities. 7 AM goes by. 730. 8. I begin to despair.
8:03 AM. Phone rings and it is Dunn's Septic, a company almost an hour and a half away. He knows. He's been there, crowning with no place to go. He tells me he's got a commercial job to do, and if no one picks up the job before he's done and ready, he will be on the way.
10:30 AM, he calls back and tells me he is offloaded and enroute. NO ONE ELSE HAS CALLED, not even the local guys twenty minutes away. Apparently, these "businesses " don't like money.
The rescue team arrived and we begin to learn things about my new house: for instance, why is the septic buried halfway to Beijing?? We find it, and he does his special kind of magic. All is right with the world. The day is saved. I pay the man his just due fee, which was probably less than it needed to be for the distance he had to drive to do this job, and away we go.
There was a slight hiccup Monday night, but it resolved itself and was probably just the remnants being purged from the house lines. But, you know what, that isn't the end of the story:
Fast forward to today, Wednesday afternoon. He calls. He calls just to check up and make sure everything is still kosher, and assures me that if he needs to come wrastle that inside line with an auger, then help is on the way.
THAT is customer service. That is why, as long as they are willing to come, they are first on the list to get my money.
*Side note: I have gotten three calls from other companies. Two of them were in Paducah, KY, less than 30 miles from my house. One was in Carbondale.

They all came in Monday AFTER Dunn's had been gone at least an hour. One came in at almost five o'clock."
